Over this semester I accomplished alott. I think I could have accoplished more if I would have applied myself and not been so lazy. After I realized that I need to pull it together and start doing my work, I was able to get more accomplished.
I had some trouble making my wiki page and doing bloggs. I never did a blog until i was put in this class. I thought I did a pretty good job gettin my stuff done, even though it is the end of the year and i waited until then to start working but, thats not the point. The point is i got the work done and passed the class.
This class was very challenging. We did things in here Ive never done before. I enjoyed working with Flash and trying to make a game. Our group did very well overall and we really pulled it together when we needed to get things done. I thought our game and our presentation turned out great but it could have been better if we accually new what we were doing.

REVIEWING TEAM PAGES!!!!

The first team that i reviewed was Katie and Amys game named Pinky & The Brain. Their game was about education and how life is like a maze all the way until you graduate. The demo was organized well and looked nice. The second team's page I viewed was called Jessimiah by Jessica's and Jeremiah. Their game is about recycling and about how important it is to recycle and how much money your community can save. I liked their game. their game looked like something a professional would have made. I thought that every aspect of their game great. Both of the teams pages I viewed were really great.

CHOOSING A TOPIC

We were given a list of social issues and we had to choose a topic that interests us. We chose to do poverty because its an issue that needs to be more educated on. Poverty is a big deal in not only West Viriginia or the USA but around the world. We think the more people that kow about poverty and how it aeffects everyone then maybe we can help lower the rate of poverty.

IMAGINE YOUR GAME!!!

Today we did some tutorials on flash and learned how to change the text and it's properties. Then we got with our partners and thought up some new ideas for our game. Nick and Rusty chose the main topics to create our game and i did most of the drawings. Our game will be about poverty and making right decisions in the real world. You will be given some choices in makin a future for yourself. If you make a wrong decissionthen you must suffer a conciquence. To win the game you must make smart choices and maintian your ability to stay out of poverty. The point of the game is to address the importance of poverty in west virginia and the united states.

GROUP CHAT!!!

We were put into groups and asked to read a few different poems and discuss them, but not by talking. We had to use our Gmail accounts to hold a chat between team members. In my group was Chris and Brandon cook. After getting our group chat together, we each picked a poem from our literature book and, wrote a summary about. we all read the poems and talked about them so we could get a better understanding. I really liked working in the group chats.I felt like i learned the story better this way. By messaging each other on the computer it was alot more calm in the class. Overall i enjoyed working in the team chats.

Animation

I think animation is pretty difficult. I still haven't learned the whole animation concept. There is a lot i still have to figure out and try to understand. I have made a couple of buttons, but not on my own i had some help making them. I think after i learn how to do the frames i think i can do the rest of it.
