Button Blog

After we finished drawing our backgrounds for our games we were given the task of making buttons. Buttons control the movement of our games, so they are essential in this process. It seemed like it was going to be complicated but turned out to be very simple. Our first step was creating boxes. Next we added text to them, such as play and exit. To finish up we had to convert our boxes to symbols and then click to make it a button.

The Canterbury Tales

I think Chaucer chose the characters that he did to show how English society was during that time. They each play an important role in the story. every character has a point and a reason for traveling. Yes i believe its an honest depiction of the time period. It is very important to develope your characters to the purpose of the game, because it helps give a better picture for your imagination.

I think that Anglo-Saxons and today's video games are alot alike, I have this thought because of the following reasons: Reason one Anglo-Saxons had a reason to fight and so do video games in the world today. Reason two the reason that they fight is mostly for a good reason and in video games its the same way. I guess thats the only reason i have.

My flash game

I enjoyed using flash but, It was quite complicated at times. There were alot of steps to do and it was hard for me to keep up but, Thats when i thought to myself " Keep going dont stop you can't give up now". Thats what pushed me through. After hours of hard work and dedication i got done with my game, It turned out very well if i must say so myself.

Beowulf

Beowulf helped his people build a better way of living. he made them more structured and gave them morals to live by. Before Beowulf came to their land, they were worthless people who were afraid of a monster named grendel. When Beowulf came to help defeat the monster the people realized that he has a betterway of doing things and started following him and began to act like better people. after beowulf died he left his people with a better way to live and great morals to live by.

Quickwrite

My hero is going to be Superman, I'm going to tell you about some of the challenges he faces being a hero. Superman fights bad guys who do bad things to good people. mostly he fights his arch nemises Lex Luther, who is always trying to take over the world. Superman stopd him from doing this by using his super powers. Superman believs in justice and fairness and is courageous and loyal.

Beowulf

Beowulf meets the requirements of a superhero because of his courage, loyalty and heorism.
He would make a great character in a video game because of his greatness.
I think one of the qualities a character needs to have in a video game is great abilities to perform special tasks that you are to accomlish. If you wasnt given special abilities then it wouldnt make the game very fun. Another quality would be the ability to be like Randy Hunt that would make it even better.
